Spring Blooms and Healthy Eats in Paris
With spring comes a feeling of new beginnings and a fresh start. The return of blue skies and colorful flowers around the city have lifted my spirits and reminded me of the beauty of this city. After growing up in California with beautiful year around weather, this past winter in particular has been a long and hard one.
Homesickness and seasonal moodiness have been a bit rougher than usual this year, but it is incredible what a little sunshine can do for the soul! With the warmth I am reminded that I have a lot more that I want to experience and discover here.
Paris in spring is definitely everything that it is talked up to be... It is absolutely gorgeous and it has been both stressful and exciting to hunt out the cherry blossoms (they're gone so fast!).
Luckily I live in the 5th arrondissement of Paris and have been surrounded by blooms. I wanted to share with you lots of the photos I have taken during this springtime bloom and I hope you enjoy them!
Amongst these photos you will see blooms around Paris in famous locations such Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, Saint Augustin, Saint Eustache, Shakespeare Café and more…and I still didn't get to all the other famous locations around Paris! However I was lucky enough to also capture some beautiful flowers in the countryside.
With the sunny weather also comes the return of Parisian terraces! There is something to satisfying about enjoying your lunch on the sunny terrace, surrounded by the stunning architecture in Paris.
I had been wanting to try Café Judy for a while, so a sunny Sunday afternoon was the perfect time to go. Since trying it that first time I have already been back again. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of ingredients and flavors are top notch. I would highly recommend if you're in Paris on a sunny day (or any day really..).
Another spot I recently tested was So Nat. It is buddha bowl heaven and so delicious and fresh. I was super impressed by the quality of ingredients and the low price for lunch! Its the perfect spot for a week time lunch. Highly recommend!
