Snow in Paris!
This winter has come late but very strong. We got quite a bit of snow this year in the city. It happens every so often, but not exactly every single winter in Paris.. but every time it does happen you would think it is the first time in a century by the way the city handles it. Busses shut down, mail stops getting delivered, grocery stores are emptied, cars are slippin and sliding all over the streets...
All that being said, there is nothing quite like seeing Paris covered in a blanket of snow. I decided to wake up early to get out and take photos before the snow was trampled over by the crowds and I am so glad I did. I was only able to get around the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe before all the snow melted..
Everyone was quickly running outside to play in the snow, I even captured a skiier on the Champs de Mars :)
I must admit I loved seeing Paris this way, but I was also very excited that it didn't last more than a few days! This California girl just isn't fit to trudge through snow to get to work haha.
So what do you think? Is Paris prettier covered in snow?
