La Coulée Verte
After hanging out in the 12th arrondissement we decided to step outside and enjoy a walk down La Coulée Verte, or also called La Promenade Plantée. If you've ever been to the High Line in Manhattan this is just the Parisian version. It's quite enjoyable to walk down the path through lush trees, various plants and flowers with views of both the classic Haussman style architecture and the modern buildings. The entire length of La Coulée Verte is 4.5km, stretching from Bastille to La Porte Dorée and La Porte de Vincennes. There are a few entrances along the way, as well as benches, a nice park, and playground for kids. Its a great place for a Sunday afternoon.
