Bella Roma - Part 1
We spent a lovely weekend in Rome exploring and eating all the delicious food I could. We walked 23km the first day and 15km the next, so needless to say, we saw just about everything we could have dreamed of seeing in such a short amount of time. The amazing thing about Rome is how on one hand it feels so quaint and intimate but on the other it is so incredibly magnificent and grand. I highly recommend visiting Rome when it is not quite tourist season however, because even in April when the rain was a constant threat, there were more tourists there any other city I have experienced. Anyways, if you have a chance to see this awe-inspiring city, where you turn corners and are surprised by beautiful ruins, spend hours in restaurants eating heavenly carbs, and wander endlessly completely entranced by the colorful hues, you have to take it!
