I spent the day touring the city with my roommates lovely mother. We began at the Fondation Louis Vuitton which is an architecturally fascinating building located in Bois de Bologne just on the edge of Paris. It celebrates contemporary art and facilitates in the cultural exchange between its visitors and artists. My favorite in the LVF was the Olafur Eliasson exhibition which used light, mirrors, and shadow to create some really amazing spaces.
After a long morning of wandering around the city I took my journal and sat underneath Pont Neuf to write. I love people watching in this city, especially by the Seine. It is always the place to see young children playing, couples in love, and friends chatting along the banks.
